I used Jev to classify 1,018 AI research papers.
The result: $0.08 total cost and 256ms median end-to-end latency per paper.
The pipeline was:
1. Summarize each paper with DeepSeek V4 Flash

We're sharing our new framework for tracking, investigating, and disclosing instances of model misalignment at OpenAI.
The framework sets criteria and timelines for public disclosure, including when we haven’t yet fully explained or mitigated the behavior. More complex cases may require longer investigation or coordination with third parties.
We’ll prioritize examples that reveal new misalignment mechanisms, meaningful changes in known behavior, or findings that challenge assumptions about safety or mitigation.
Alongside the framework, we’re publishing six reports on instances of misaligned behavior we’ve observed during the training or evaluation of our models in the last six months.
This is a starting point. We’ll refine the process through experience and public feedback, and share more reports on an ongoing basis.

The barrier to building something has always been a positive thing.
"Should I build this?" is more important than "Can I build this?"
Understanding, domain knowledge and craft create value.
When it took months to build software, you had time.
Time to validate.
Time to realise your idea was stupid.
Now you can build an idea in an afternoon but you still don't know if anyone wants it.
You don't understand the problem space.
You don't understand the market.
You still haven't built the expertise that makes something valuable.
Slapping something together in a few prompts usually does not create value, yet the world is now full of slop products produced like this.
AI can write the code but it does not understand the problems it is solving, or how humans feel interacting with products.
It is just a text generator. It has no understanding or empathy.
You have to bring those things.
We are more empowered than ever, yet we're in peak enshitification.
Products with no soul, solving problems their creators don't understand.
Built by people who don't want to think for themselves.
Jon Yongfook把同一判断压成一句更直接的产品建议:别再只给开发者造工具,去给普通用户解决问题。它不是说开发者市场没有价值,而是在提醒供给最拥挤的地方通常也是最容易被基础模型吸收的地方。

I'm looking forward to trying these when they stabilize! I currently use WGPU for graphics, and cudarc for CUDA. Note: Cuda-oxide is similar to Cudarc's host component, but uses a rust-style kernel dialect. Advantage: Share structs between host and device. Disadvantage: Trading standard Cuda kernels for a new, WIP dialect. I haven't tried the tile API yet; looking forward to it. The last time I checked, Cuda Oxide was Linux only, and required Async; these are why I haven't tried it yet.

🇪🇺 Great data and actually I think we should use this kinds of data to completely turn around Europe's immigration policy:
- We should have super easy inflow for immigrants from countries whose previous immigrants have shown low crime rates
You're from Japan? Just fly here and you can stay forever
- We should then almost completely ban any inflow from countries whose previous immigrants have shown high crime rates with instant deportations
You're on the top of that list? You're not coming in, sorry. We have to keep Europeans safe first!
Then you can add special exceptions for people in those worst rated countries for high quality talent, think AI engineers, neurosurgeons, high IQ people, with no crime records. But that process will take a little bit longer than just flying into Europe
Then every year you check the data and you adjust the policy based on last 5 or 10 years of criminal history of immigrants from those places
I think this is the most common sense policy and it'll make Europe much safer
引用@tomaspueyoLots of people discuss immigration & crime in Europe, so I compiled what I think is ALL the data on the topic, which is hard because many countries hide it.

Last month, I met @thevarundeep at the meetup I organized in Singapore.
He flew from Dubai to pitch me something.
His marketing agency connects brands with influencers, and one of his clients, @higgsfield_ai, was interested in sponsored tweets.
I never take money to say good things about companies (and never will), so I declined. Instead, I told him they could buy a sponsor spot on @trust_mrr and get in front of 200,000 visitors.
He left Singapore the next day at 6 am.
Later that day, he emailed me saying they wanted to buy all 20 sponsor slots.
I thought that would make TrustMRR look like one giant Higgsfield ad, so I told him they could have up to 5.
They bought all 5 for $7,495/mo!
That brings @trust_mrr MRR to an all-time high of $26,031 MRR 🎉
As a solo entrepreneur with a whopping marketing budget of $0, I’m surprised by how real companies spend money. They flew someone in to pitch a partnership and were eventually willing to spend $30k/mo.

In case local AI models are banned, it's critical you start experimenting with them now
Luckily Hermes just released an awesome feature that makes it easy for ANYONE to get started, no matter what computer you have
It will literally determine which model is best for you, then load it and run it. No technical work required at all
Just go into the Hermes desktop app then go to settings, providers, then local models.
From there is will recommend which model you should be running on your computer. Even if you're running a dirt cheap Mac Mini
You click 'set up for me' and it handles EVERYTHING for you
In no time you'll have literal unlimited intelligence running locally on your computer
No excuses. Do this ASAP

last 30 days we paid $2,565 to 17 creators
and Clipatra isn't even launched. it's in private beta
here's how it works:
- brands start a campaign and put money in a wallet
- small creators find relevant campaigns and post a video about the brand to their own audience
- creator gets a fixed fee when the video is approved + a bonus on views
that's literally it. no ads, no agency, no $5k retainer to find out if it works
I started it with my own products because I was tired of paying for reach I couldn't measure
2 months later there are 17 creators who got paid real money
now I'm looking for a few brands to join before the public launch
the first brands to launch a campaign also get a push from me. I'll post about your campaign on X and send it to every creator on the platform
and you only pay creators whose videos you approve. worst case you keep your money and get free distribution

Let me tell you a story
10 months ago, with my cofounder Hugo, we had a crazy idea
When everyone was betting on AI and launching SaaS to automate blogs and content, we thought
"Hey, why don't we just build a writing platform for people, not AI?"
It was a bad business idea, we already knew that.
But we both have 2 unfair advantages: time and passion.
Writizzy is our attempt to build the blogging platform we'd always wanted. Simple. Independent. Built for humans.
We had a lot of doubts the past few months, but recently, a few big companies signed up for our team plans, and we reached 1,000 created blog!!
The future is bright for Writizzy ☀️
I shipped a new MCP server in Alertly 🚀
This means you can connect Alertly directly to Claude or Codex and ask questions about the conversations you’re monitoring.

But my ai psychosis immediately dismisses it
引用@yishanThis is why I think “we’ll just get ASI and tell the AI to solve climate change for us” is the most likely way a Real Paperclip Maximizer scenario manifests: the AI concludes that human civilization is the main cause of climate change and deletes it. … ↗

There’s this weird dichotomy of being hyper focused/high agency with something this rewarding (that it literally lifts your families quality of life)
But also being so absorbed in it that people around you think you’re emotionally unavailable. Or misinterpret your drive as not wanting them.
The opposite is true though. My drive and determination comes from a deep place within me to support and provide for my family. I can’t explain it with words.
And the realisation I had today is that it’s all kinda just meaningless without those in your life that you’re doing it for.
I don’t know how to navigate such an issue. I have a drive inside me and people around me just have to put up with it? Or I have to learn to tone down the drive?

1️⃣💬 it's too complicated for non-tech users to download open source models
2️⃣💬 open-source models aren't good enough
these might have been true in the past, but AI moves fast
1️⃣✅ open source alternatives ship with the model built-in. they are EASIER to install because you just download them and they work. no account necessary
2️⃣✅ open models like parakeet are very fast and accurate
引用@slumdog_8@marckohlbrugge The more you use + rely on voice dictation, the more you value speed & accuracy. Local transcription + post-processing models just aren't there yet. That's why Wisprflow and its alternatives, are still the mainstream offerings. ↗
Wispr Flow was a game-changer when it first came out and I hope they will continue to be very successful, but I just don't see how they can stay competitive?
There are so many alternatives now. Many are one-time payment or even free and open-source.
Local models are superior for most users so a subscription doesn't really make sense
Team seems super talented though, so I'm curious to see if they've got any surprises up their sleeve
what would you build on this e-ink device?

some people pointing out that taking a picture of your food and having AI analyze macros is inaccurate
I actually think it's fine, because 1) I scan nutrition labels when possible, and 2) weigh my food when useful
my meals are also quite simple and repetitive so even if I just log "eggs" my AI assistant knows it's my standard 6 medium-sized eggs. same for other meals
also, perfection is the enemy of good enough. rough estimate is still better than flying in the dark which would be the alternative

This is such a fresh take on AI video.
Give Poolday the footage and assets you already have, and it edits everything for you.
If something’s missing, it generates it on the fly.
Such a smart idea.
引用@alexeichemendaWe raised $11M to make video editors obsolete.
Not the humans, the tools.
Think about the hours you lose searching for assets, moving clips frame by frame, fixing animations, checking exports, and redoing the same edits over and over.

We recently bought a 100 year old farm in my home town.
For the year we've been building a home we'll never need to leave.
It's the biggest project I've ever taken on.
A few of the highlights:
- Nearly 9,000 sq. ft.
- Regal-style theater + speak-easy
- Full bar
- Arcade room
- Indoor/outdoor gym
- Design studio
- Indoor gun range
- Fresh water spring + creek
Still in awe some days of what design has made possible.

Making YouTube videos fully agentic is such a sick experience now.
DaVinci Resolve and Fusion handle the edit. Remotion and Blender handle motion and 3D. GPT Image 2.5 handles visual generation. Then agents coordinate research, scripts, thumbnails, and publishing around it.
Man, you can make some cool videos with this setup.
I still come up with the ideas and record the footage. But I can now produce the kind of videos that would have needed an entire production team a few years ago.
My full YouTube production stack is below 👇
So unfortunately a big batch of new fake accounts are impersonating me both here on X and on Instagram and YouTube.
Just know that:
- I never reach out on a DM.
- I don't sell crypto our courses.
- I don't offer investment advice or work on any investment/crypto related apps.
If I reach out to you on a DM or from an email domain that looks like simonhoiberg(.)com, but not quite - it's NOT me.

SaaS isn't dying. But Micro SaaS is coming to an end.
Look at dropshipping.
The resemblance is almost perfect.
E-commerce didn't die, but the original dropshipping opportunity, where you'd put up a website, run ads, and forward the purchase to a supplier, has been squeezed to death.
Same thing is happening with Micro SaaS.
SaaS isn't going anywhere - but wrapping a popular API, renting the hosting, the databases, the compute, and slapping a pretty UI and a Stripe paywall on top... That opportunity is coming to an end.
We had a good run.
Here's what we need to do next 👇

CLIs are not the way to go.
